Services & Techniques

At Active Chiropractic Health & Wellness, we take great pride in providing the finest chiropractic wellness care to our patients. Below is a sampling of the different chiropractic services we offer in our Norman office.

Chiropractic Care

We provide advanced spinal correction utilizing "state of the art" chiropractic techniques as well as traditional techniques that have been in use for over one hundred years. Never in the history of chiropractic have we been able to provide the level of help and expertise that now exists. These newer correction methods used in conjunction with traditional techniques are even safer, more comfortable and more effective than ever before. As a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Aaron Wines has years of training and experience in spinal adjustment.  Dr. Wines will strive to find the root cause of your pain / symptoms and find a treatment plan that best suits your needs.

Corrective Exercises

In addition to skeletal misalignment, muscles and connective tissues can be out of place or strained by improper alignment and use. Specific exercises and stretches can help your body stay in balance and in health.  Throughout your chiropractic treatment, you might be given exercises / stretches that will be performed in the office, at home, or a combination of the two that can improve the effectiveness of your spinal correction by as much as 30-40%. These exercises and stretches, if given, will be tailored to your specific needs to help strengthen and correct your own unique problem.   We have found that the combination of adjustments in conjunction with muscle re-education (exercises / stretches) helps patients get well faster, as well as having longer lasting results.

Lifestyle Advice

We find that with many of our patients, giving them advice on activities that should be avoided or performed in a different manner so as not to aggravate their condition is very beneficial. It allows them to maintain the type of lifestyle that they enjoy, but without the pain that it often causes. Our goal at Active Chiropractic Health & Wellness is to help every patient achieve a fulfilling and happy lifestyle. We understand that true health and wellness is a collaborate effort between and our patients and us.

Nutritional Counseling

We provide specific recommendations on nutritional supplements and healthy food choices to enhance our patientīs return to optimal health. Do you know which supplements and vitamins are good for youDr. Aaron Wines can provide a structured nutritional program based on your individual needs.

Spinal & Postural Screenings

Posture and spinal screenings can reveal important health information and unlock the door to improved health and well-being. We provide screenings at community events, health fairs and places of employment. Contact us today to arrange a screening at your event or workplace.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy offers a natural conservative treatment approach  that relieves musculoskeletal pain for many patients. Our office  provides specific massage and muscular therapy that is tailored to  meet the patient's condition and injury. The benefits of massage  therapy may include increasing blood circulation, reducing swelling,  relaxing muscles, relieving muscle pain and spasms, and aid in recovery and range of motion.  In addition to adjusting the joints of the body, we at Active Chiropractic Health & Wellness have found it to be very beneficial to many of our patients to have a massage in conjunction with adjustments. This works well as it allows the muscles surrounding the joints to relax. It makes the adjusting process easier for some of our patients, in addition to relieving stress that is accumulated in the body through daily activities.
